Fairmount Park, the Friends of Penn Treaty Park, and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society are working with Studio Bryan Hanes to develop a Master Plan for Penn Treaty Park. 2009 Fairmount Park Recycling Center Pilot Program
Fairmount Park is proud to announce the inauguration of the Fairmount Recycling Center Pilot Program for commercial businesses to dispose of organic waste and purchase finished products such as screened compost. For more information please click here.
Potential Hunting Park Designs Unveiled
Fairmount Park and the Fairmount Park Conservancy have initiated a comprehensive master plan for Hunting Park. Through a combination of community participation supported by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and design support from landscape architects Wells Appel, two design options for a revitalized Hunting Park are now proposed. Fairmount Park Customer Service Standards
As part of Mayor Michael A. Nutter's PhillyStat performance management system, Fairmount Park has developed Customer Service Standards for three essential services we provide - turf mowing, wedding and picnic permits and response to tree planting, pruning and removal requests.
