Updated: 21 October 2008 JUNIATA and WALNUT LANE GOLF COURSE STUDY Thank you to all who attended the community meetings on September 10th and 11th concerning the Juniata and Walnut Lane golf courses. The meetings were held to solicit input on a study being conducted on the environmental and economic sustainability of recreational use of the two courses. It is clear from both meetings that users and neighbors are passionate about the parks and the courses. It was also apparent that attendees want to review the presentations and provide additional input. We are pleased to provide here both course presentations updated to include the 2007 rounds of play and a survey for each course. Please view the presentations and complete the surveys. Note that there are separate surveys for each course. We look forward to receiving your feedback and thank you for your continued interest in and support of Fairmount Park. Mark A.
